2nd fishing trip of 2005!
High Island, Texas


A day with the boys.

We decided to head to High Island due to our last trip there with high expectations. We arrived on the beach at 8:30 am and did not do as good as last time.
Below is our story.

Anthony was the first one to hook up on this trip. Look what the first fish of the day looked like.

After about an hour later Albert lands this beauty.
 

We wait for a few hours with not much happening so we move down the beach and start playing with the new camera.
Look at this crab picture. Oh yeah, this guy was used for bait.

Bull Red #3 41"
This fish was fat. He looked like a stuffed puppy.

Now for the REPORT!

The weather was beautiful, bait was easy to find and the water was clearing up but the fish were just not there. We had fresh crab and whiting soaking for hours. We caught 2 whiting using fish bites and saw 2 large croaker caught by two other guys down the beach. Not much more to say about this trip but we had a great time.
