Bull Drum Run / Group Picture
First, I would like to say good meeting everyone that showed up to fish on such a bad DAY!

You guys are HARD CORE!

It was not as bad as the weather man said it was going to be.
Bruce is pictured holding one of several bull drum that the landed.
Frank and his crew had just left and missed the group picture.

Check out Henry and his boys on the Left side of the picture. They are the other half of Team CBF for Beach Bum Shark Rodeo.

Bull Drum 37" long
We waited in the rain under the tarp B.S.ing with the guys when my faithful brown rod (20# test) starts to bend over. After a good fight Aty lands his first over sized Black Drum.
Nice catch Aty!

Bet your hooked now!!!

Bull Drum 36" long
After a bit longer my other light rod (17 # test) starts to really bend like it was going to break. Scott takes it and starts to fight the fish. It took a little longer than usual but he manages to catch his first bull drum.
I don't need to say it, but "Nice catch Scott"!

Bull Drum #1 35" long
We were about to leave and were packing up when I decided to go check a rod I had put out off to the side and look what was on the other end of the line.

Now for the REPORT!

All I can say about the weather was that it was not as bad as the weather man said it was going to be. It was still wet but if you have the right gear it is not bad at all. Fishing was great but the catching was a bit slow. Overall there were about 10 black drum caught by the HARD CORE Surf-Masters that showed up. I think Bruce, Doug's (AKA -Shark) friend, out fished us all. He had 3 bulls. We had two fisherman catch there largest drum to date. Way to go Aty and Scott. I know we will be fishing together again. I was hoping you had caught those fish on my bigger gear to have a better chance of landing the fish but you did not need it. There is a lot of structure in that channel that can break you off with light gear but it didn't happen. Good meeting you and your boy's Henry!

Team C.B.F's scores again!

I thank God for blessings he has given this family!

FISH HARD or STAY HOME with your MOMMY!
