Redfish 17" long
I know it is small but a good starter fly caught fish so early in the year.
 

Redfish 19" long
We fished almost till dark when Anthony finally caught this fish. It is his largest fly caught redfish so far.

I know this summer he will be landing a keeper or two.

Now for the REPORT!

We paddled the whole lake in search for fish. We saw several redfish and a few black drum but were unable to get close enough to catch anything. We finally anchored in a likely spot and started to blind cast into the current and letting the fly sink. Anthony caught one red and I landed three. I was sick on Saturday so I had to stay home with my Mommy! I did go into the garage and saw the yaks sitting there. I said to myself "That would be cool". Early Sunday we loaded up and off we went. The weather was not that bad but I really should have stayed home and rested. Monday I had to use a day of sick leave because I was feeling horrible again. Fishing was great but the catching was a bit slow. Overall the outing was productive. We found a place where we would like to go back and check it out in the summer. This place really has potential!
