Now for the REPORT!All I can say is that it was really windy down home. I forgot how bad it could be. The wind never got below 25mph. While I was sitting there working on my boat I started thinking, "When the wind is from the SE and blowing hard it is usually good at Indian Point Pier in February thru March". Ronnie comes buy and we discussed it. One call to find out what they were catching and we could not get there fast enough. They were catching Big Uglies all day long. My Dad asked where we were going so we brought him along. I was windy but not cold at all. The warmth from the water was keeping us comfortable. After being raped for the smallest crabs I have ever saw ($8.00 a pound) we started fishing. It was slow for the first hour and a half until Ronnie catches his fish. Other fish were being caught but not by us. Most fish were skinny like mine. I think Dad and Ronnies fish were females. The cauht them a few minutes apart and could have been from the same school. Sea lice (Mantis Shrimp) was what they were hitting on. As soon as I caught my fish we left. What-a-burger was calling us. Overall we caught 3 Big Uglies to about 45 pounds.
Team C.B.F's scores again!
I thank God for blessings he has given this family!
