Now for the REPORT!
After a strong summer COLD front we had a great relaxing 4 days in 80-degree weather. With the addition of the constant cool north wind and no mosquitoes, we found ourselves laying repeatedly in the shade. In the mornings and afternoon we found trout and ladyfish in the surf and at noon we found
redfish drum and sheepshead on the flats. Along with the piggy perch, sand trout, hard heads, and whiting we caught an impressive 10 different species of fish. What is more amazing is the amount of Junior Angler State/Water body records being processed right now. Eleven to be exact. Although we
did not hit the rough surf for bull drum or shark we had a blast sleeping in a tent for four days and catching many fish. Thank god for the beautiful blue weather and no MOSQUITOS.
Team C.B.F's scores again! I thank God for blessings he has given this family and for our safe trip!
