You KNOW the Story:
With blessings from GOD we caught a ridiculous number of big fish the last time we fished Rockport under a full moon. This time the Castillo's (Friends of the Family) that we do not spend enough time with decided to join us on our adventures. As usual we left latter than expected and arrived around 10pm at the cabins. The girls started talking and it was hard to break away. Richardo and myself eventually made it to Fulton pier to have the T-head all to ourselves. With all the BS'ing we missed several nibbles. It was hard to tell that a fish was on due to the extremely high winds. These were the worst winds I have fished on that pier. Eventually we catch our first fish of the trip.

Friday Night!
Fulton Pier, Fulton Texas

Richardo with a very respectable 38" BU!

After sticking longer than we should have we head out around 5 in the morning.

Saturday Night!
Goose Island State Park, Lamar Texas

We slept late and grabbed a bite to eat at Pop eyes and headed to the pier around 2ish. We took our usual spot and started fishing. On Saturday we planned on meeting up with Ronnie, My Dad, Randy and Torry. All made it to the pier safely. the wind was still howling but we did manage to fish. Around 3:30 we had a double and the fish were tangling up the lines pretty BAD! While we were working one fish out Priscilla took the other rod. We lost the first fish but she was able to manage to catch this heavy BU! One of these days she will learn that the guests are supposed to catch the first few fish!

After a few lost baits we had another good run. Dad landed the fish but it was not what we wee looking for.

A few casts later Ronnie gets onto his first BU of the night. WTG Ronnie!

After a long wait and re-baiting ALL the rods Richardo hooks into this one. There must have been a bit too much BS because we lost 7 crabs out of 9 rods. HUM!

Ronnie with another impressive BU!

We eventually convince Janie to hook up on one and she lands here very first BU. TI was the biggest of the trip and went 44". It makes the Monster list in my book.

Around 2:30 in the morning after everyone left Richardo lands this one.

Around 5 in the morning I land this smallish 36 incher. It's better than a sharp stick in my eye!

Without the LORD we would not have such a successful trip. We landed a total of 8 BU's with a size ranging from 36 to 44 inches with an average of around 40 inches.

Castillo's, Ronnie, Dad we need to do this again soon!
