We hit the beach a bit latter than waht I wanted and met up with Larry (baitsnweights)and friend Bill. They had already caught a pup shark and had caught some good bait. The conditions were excellent. Green water too the beach and flat with no weed. We set up the rods and shortly after we get a huge run on a yaked bait in the third gut. 25 minutes later we have this on the beach. It had stick itself the the bottom in the first gut and we had to pry it off with a rod holder. Approximatly 4 foot across and 80#'s. Thanks Larry for your help.



The rest of the day was pretty much uneventful until something bumps the 9/0 and broke the weight. We decide to check the rod and we had this at the end. This shark took a biat that was almost 1/2 the size that the was. Bit exactly where one of the hooks was. Pictured are Dick and his daughter.

On a bad note: We could see HUGE patches of weed coming in as we left. I want to thank GOD for such a wonderful day on the beach with good friends, family and safe return too all their destinations.
