Slow Catching Weekend!
 

Big Ugly #1 33" long
After a very, very long day of fishing the catching finally came by our way.
Albert finally catches the first Big Ugly of the trip.
 

Big Ugly #2 36" long
After thanking God for that wonderful catch and 20 minutes later Albert hooks into a bigger B.U.

Now for the REPORT!

The weather was cool to cold in the morning/day to down right cold at night. Bait was plentiful. We caught enough whiting to keep us happy and once again Fiesta had some really nice crabs. The tide was slack which kept the catching a bit slow. Nevertheless I was in good company. We enjoyed "Fishing with Miracle", Robert and family. Once again thanks for that great tasting breakfast casserole. You need to share that recipe with us. Albert is still talking about it. The catching did not start until the sun was about to set and the tide started to move. After fishing until we could not see anymore we made our way to the little pier west of the Quintana jetties and fished until midnight. Whiting were there if you wanted them. It was great to be out there! We landed 2 over size black drum that were 33" and 36" long.
