WET on the Pelican!!!

Bull Redfish #1 42" long
After waiting in the rain for hours Anthony catches the first Bull Redfish of the trip.
He thought the waves were moving the line but his old man told him otherwise.
The smile on his face shows that he was happy He checked his pole!

Bull Redfish #2 36" long
We waited there to be drenched with fog before Anthony gets another run.
He was going to hand this fish off to Albert but he was too slow.
Well at least that is Anthony's story and he is sticking to it!

Now for the REPORT!

All I can say about the weather was that it was WET, WET, WET. We knew it was going to be wet but we just could not stay home. We were rained on from 2pm to right before the sunset. The sun came out for about an hour then the fog rolled in. The type of FOG that you would see a ghost ship or something. It was bad. I was afraid to take out the digital camera for fear that It might get too wet. Bait was plentiful. We caught enough whiting to keep us happy and had some really nice crabs and mullet. The tide was moving but the waves were really big. It was difficult to tell if you had a run or not. The lines were continually getting slack. We met up with a few friends that used to fish on another pier and we caught up gossip. The catching did not start until 8 pm. We landed 2 over size Bull Redfish that were 42" and 36" long. We did have another fish that got away!

Team C.B.F's scores again!
