The first thing I would like to do is Thank GOD for the blessings he has given this family and friends and the ability too do the things we enjoy. I hit the beach around 9 and I have the beach all too myself except too some duck hunters in the refuge. The wind was cold and blowing HARD from the NE. I was sitting at home Saturday when “I received a call from Larry. He said he and some friend would be down the beach so I decided to meet them there. As luck would have it the other guys did not make it. Saturday was a pretty day just because I was sitting at home and I though Sunday would be the same. NOT! Larry shows up on the beach around 9 ish dragging a really nice looking project trailer. I was just setting up so he did not miss anything. We get the rods out and the wait was on. The baits were not being touch. They were just as we sent them out. I threw out a dead crab and when I checked the bait the crab was alive. The water was dirty and ROUGH! Good for the fishing but tough on the fisherman. No mullet in the surf again. Croaker and small drum were pretty easy to come by on shrimp. The tide was moving in all day but it seemed not to matter. We had some heavy equipment come through and I believe it scares he fish away. The day was rough but I don’t think it was going to be that bad. The heavy equipment must have been around all during the week. We ended catching all fish on casted baits. Total catch was 1 Bull Redfish and one keeper. Larry with the first fish of the day. Good fishing with you again. It’s been a while.

Camp! Once Larry finishes this trailer it’s going to be kick butt! It and the fire saved us from a really nasty day on the beach.

Overall it was a great time on the beach with an old friend BSing and catching fish.
