Surf-Masters Drum Run

That time of year again to meet up with the gang and catch some BIG UGLIES!
Below is our story.
 

Big Ugly #1 38"
Fortunately to me I was standing closer to this pole when Xak yell's out "FISH ON" and he was not kidding. This brute was caught on my favorite simi-lite tackle rod.

After about an hour later Albert lands this beauty or should I say BIG UGLY!

We wait for a few hours with not much happening until we change baits and five minutes later Aty gets into the action.

Now for the REPORT!

The weather was not as bad as the weather man had said and much better than the last two Surf-Master Drum runs I attended. Overall there were about 10 Big Uglies caught total on Saturday. The biggest seen was a 42 incher. The current was swift and the action was a bit slow. Nonetheless we had a good time with old friends and meeting new one's. Not much more to say about this trip but we had a great time and it was fun fishing with Albert, Xak, Ray, Robert, Aty, Victor, Carlos and the rest of you.
